Our Minister

Geoff has achieved the Advanced Level in Clinical Pastoral Education from the Canadian Association for Pastoral Practice and Education, graduated from Coach University as a Personal Life Coach and is a past member of the International Coach Federation.

In February 2007 he began his ministry with Faith United Church excited in knowing that the hallmarks of Faith’s identity are questing for spiritual understanding and caring for people without the responsibilities of a church building.  Thinking outside the box is what motivates the people of Faith United.

Geoff understands and includes all, wherever they are in their spiritual journey and theological understanding, recognizing that faith is indeed a deeply personal experience.  For more than 20 years, as he has studied and lived his spirituality, the foundation of his ministry has been progressive Christian thinking.  He believes that asking questions, reading and having discussions are important keys to spiritual exploration and faith.

At Faith United Church he shares ministry with and coaches individuals who have a wide variety of theological understandings and who are exploring and celebrating life and faith questions.  His presence, worship and preaching style offer questers a welcoming atmosphere in which to explore.
